International Womens Day 2016

So I’m a little late to the party here/ a lot late. But I’ve wanted to do a post about International Womens Day 2016 this whole month.

Whilst I’m sure this day has been occurring every year of my life – never before has it received so much attention. The whole day made me feel very optimistic about the way in which my generation is headed – that said though, sexism is obviously still rampant in our culture – affecting the day to day lives of men and women everywhere, sometimes as privilege and sometimes as soul-crushing, insidious disrespect and stereotyping.
